The First Look at the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster
While getting your hands on the beautiful Lamborghini Veneno is indeed impossible – all three production models of the world’s most expensive automobile have already been spoken for – you will have a slightly better chance at obtaining its open-air brethren: the Veneno Roadster. Unearthed ahead of its official debut in an apropos hue of devilish red with carbon fiber accoutrements, the 6.5 liter 750 horsepower V12 two-seater – capable of acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds before hitting a top speed of 221 mph – is identical to the trio of OG hyper-coupes outside its addition of a removable roof panel. If the original Veneno is any indication, green and white editions of the Roadster could join the bold red edition pictured here to complete the il Tricolore trifecta – the design is both a celebration of Lambo’s Italian heritage and the manufacturer’s 50th anniversary. Stay tuned for full details regarding the leaked Roadster, as rumors suggest just nine production models will be available in all.
