Wu-Tang 20 Years Later

Source: allhiphop.com
20 years ago Wu-Tang Clan provoked some of the liveliest energy in the entertainment industry. The world would know once again, that hip hop was here to stay. Fan support was so natural, and nothing was animated pertaining to Wu-Tang. Now I'm reading RZA is labeling Raekwon as the hold up on completing the new album. Allegations of "bullsh*tting"? I'm honestly laughing at that too considering The Chef really hasn't been inconsistent at all. With any team and any project being in unison is extremely important. The slightest thing could throw the balance or disturb harmonious vibes. Friends and family often sidebar the legalities, and logistics to push forward and get the work done; make the music. At this level in the game for them all however, the business arrangements are equally important. You can't have tons of "Lost Jewlry" and feed your family. According to allhiphop.com, Raekwon explains:

"I just want everything to be right, the business. When we made a lot of our great music, it was because we were in harmony. You cannot put guys together if there is no harmony, and on top of it, we’re doing business. As a man with children, I have to always look at that. It’s bigger than sometimes just the thought of it, the fact of it, it just gotta make sense." - Raekwon (MTV Rap Fix, February)

The state of hip hop right now has some of the O.G.'s disgusted, and torn. I know that's not WU tho, they'll figure whatever this out. Read the full story here on allhiphop.com.
