Atlantic Records artist Dyme-A-Duzin put in some work with the lovely singer/songwriter Kehlani this past month; and the creative chemistry was amazing! A collision of beautiful energy enveloped this increasingly common story of young jetsetters out here grinding, and finding the time to "Stay Up," if only for a quick call to touch base. This set a nice tone for Dyme's HiP HOPE, and Kehlani's Cloud 19 projects are dropping soon. Visit Dyme-A-Duzin's official website iamdyme.com for updates.

New York Remembers Graffiti Legend Jason "DG" Wulf
Thursday, July 10, 2014
Art, DG, Graffiti, hip hop, hip hop culture, Jason "DG" Wulf, New Wave Crew, New York
42 year old Queens, New York Graffiti Artist Jason Wulf, affectionately known as DG, was killed last week at 25th Street Station in Sunset Park. . Police made the discovery just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday night. Some sources speculate DG may have been tagging, or preparing to; while others say he would have never gone out alone on the third rail to tag at night. As the heart-wrenching mystery unfolds, one thing is for certain - DG was loved, and well respected. Even from afar, many people grew up admiring movements like DG's New Wave Crew, imitating breaking moves, and becoming artists in modeled after such legends. When the news broke on social media, hundreds of people referenced the 80's classic film "Beat Street" for its' tragic familiarity. I hope we as a society show that we appreciate true hip hop culture more, and pay respect to these artists when they are here to physically receive it. Our prayers of comfort go out to family and friends.

New Renaissance (@_NewRenaissance) - Pearls To The Swine ( Produced by Chase N. Ca$he )
Friday, November 22, 2013
2 cent tv, 2 Cents Movement, Art, B Mike, Chase N. Cashe, culture, hip hop, House of the Young, Kash Akbar, listen fest, Luke Saint John, Mannie Fresh, Marz the Superior, New Renaissance, SOL, SOL GALEANO, Stefan
New Renaissance's Cypher appeals more to my ears than any club song or single on the radio. "Pearls To The Swine" produced by 504 legend Chase N. Ca$he, and 2-cent music features members SOL GALEANO, Stefan, Marz the Superior, Ka$h Akbar, and Luke Saint John. Excellent wordplay, production, and most significantly a very powerful message. These young energies are so bright and alive with truth that you're compelled to run it back at least once or twice. This word art flows seamlessly onto a perfect audio canvas with clear respect and appreciation for creative legends before them. Marz the Superior and Stefan will be performing on Sunday at House of the Young. Make sure to go out and support these positive vibes. To find these talents on social media, I've provided their links within.
I will be at the @2centTV #LISTENFEST along with @2cent_bmike and @manniefresh giving back to the kids come thru. http://t.co/hWQrBMXB5M
