An Indefinite Ban Has Been Issued On The Malcolm X Diary

The SOURCE Magazine Reports:

The Shabazz family has shut down publishing house’s plans to release unauthorized diary

The X Legacy organization, which is headed by the daughters of slain civil and human rights leader Malcolm X, has shut down the plans of Third World Press to publish the Diary of Malcolm X.

The family’s legal representation, L. Londell McMillian, who is also the owner of The Source and Jones Magazines, informed the court that the family owns the property rights to Malcolm X. Third World Press refused to get proper authorization or negotiate with the Shabazz family, therefore, violating a federal court order.

Even though there was at least one family member who supported the Third World release, no one family member has the legal right to grant authorization. This possibly could lead to other lawsuits of copyright violations against Third World Press and any others who may have contributed to the alleged infringement of the literary works, trademarks, and publicity rights of Malcolm X’s family.

According to McMillian, the Shabazz family has plans to release of literary works written by the former famed leader of the Nation Of Islam and facilitate events celebrating the life and legacy of Malcolm X in 2015, which will mark the 50th anniversary of X’s assassination.

Prayers For The Family of Macon Rev. Teddy Parker Jr.

Our sincere prayers go out the the family of Rev. Teddy Parker of Macon, GA. This is a tragic event that no family should have to endure. We ask that you all lift Rev. Parker's wife and two children up in prayer this morning. This was by far the most shocking of all my reads last night. According to AllChristianNews.com, the young pastor told his congregation “I Don’t Feel Like God is Hearing Me.” The blog further details

A congregation is saddened to see the loss of their pastor, who killed himself this week right before church. The man, Rev. Teddy Parker Jr., confessed to his congregation that sometimes, “I don’t feel like God is hearing me.”

The preacher committed suicide as his wife and children waited for him to get to church, along with 800 members of his congregation. According to 13 WMAZ, Rev. Parker was the pastor of the Bibb Mount Zion Baptist Church in Macon, Ga.

The pastor was found by his wife Larrinecia after he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Lakesia Toomer, who spoke for the church, told WMAZ, “We consider this a private matter between the family and the BMZ church family. We kindly ask that the public respects our privacy at this time.”

“When he didn’t show up they went looking for him,” Rusell Rowland, a friend, told the Christian Post. “I’m very surprised because he didn’t preach that. He preached totally against it. It’s something that the congregation don’t really understand.”

The pastor spoke of his personal struggle during a Youtube sermon called “Facing Your Storm with Confidence.”

“You know a lot of times, we feel like when we are going through stuff and it’s a lot that there’s nobody there with us. And guess what? God intends for you to feel that way. I know y’all been saved a long time. I know you super spiritual and you know you real holy but there are times in your life, not y’all but me. There are times in my life when I’m going through some stuff where I can’t feel God there,” he said.

“I try to pray but I don’t feel like God is hearing me. I try to serve but I don’t feel like God is using me. And there are times in your life when God purposely withdraws from you, he doesn’t withdraw for the sake of leaving you but he withdraws so you can grow and mature,” he said.

Michelle Obama "Responds" to Kanye West

Hi, it's Michelle.

Michelle Obama, Barack's wife. Barack Obama, the President of the United States of America. That makes me the First Lady of the United States of America. Me = Michelle Obama.

I hope all is well.

You know, Kanye, I woke up this morning. In the White House. And one of my aides told me she had something to show me. Something that would make me laugh. A "cute" thing, if you will. It was a series of quotes, Kanye. About my husband and me. About my Vogue magazine cover. And fashion. And classism. They were your quotes. You were the cute thing, Kanye.

And my aide was right. It did make me laugh. Oh, what a hearty White House laugh it was. Tell me, Kanye, what's your goal with this? Why us? Are you still mad about my husband calling you a jackass a few times? Is that why you're focusing on me instead of on all the other women who have been on the cover of Vogue?

That's what this is all about, isn't it? You're out here all mad simply because we're stylin' on you? I know Barack never did apologize for the name-calling, because you know how you men are with your stubbornness. But it's more than that. It's bigger than fashion. To you, this has become a couple vs. couple thing. I once overheard some of our summer interns talking about you — about how mad you get when you're compared to other rappers, because your peers are Jesus and Jobs and Walt Disney. I heard it and actually respected that. It shows you have some drive to be a great man. You should fight to get your respect. I see my husband, the President of the Free World, get disrespected every day. And it tears me apart.

So you have to understand where I'm coming from when I say it's laughable for my 21-year marriage to be mentioned on the same website as your thing with Kim. Imagine if someone compared you to Papoose, Kanye. Well, you're Barack's Papoose. And yes, Kim is my Remy Ma. My husband's not moving our family out the country so you can't see where we stay. Because he runs the country, you see. And, again, we live in the White House. Very visible.

Corrupt Judge Was Texting Instructions To Prosecutors To Help Send People To Prison

This is just one of the "justice" systems' dirty little secrets. Wake up! Stop fighting each other and open your eyes to what's really going on around you.
The Texas district Judge Elizabeth E. Coker is stepping down from the bench after she is being heavily scrutinized because of a texting scandal. A recent whistle blowing case exposed that the judge was SMS messaging prosecutor’s questions that they should ask the people on the stand to secure a conviction. The accusations popped up when media stories came out that Coker was sending inappropriate texts to Polk County Assistant District Attorney Kaycee Jones while she ruled over a criminal trial August of last year. Once the allegations were launched, the commission decided to launch an investigation against to see if it was true that she was texting questions to Jones that she believed would get her a conviction.

Chris Brown Checks Into Anger Management

TMZ announced singer Chris Brown has checked into a rehab facility for anger management issues. Brown was dropped off to the facility yesterday by his attorney, Mark Geragos.

Brown was arrested in DC over the weekend after allegedly punching a guy in the nose. The L.A. County probation department is doing the maximum in its investigation to determine if Brown had violated his probation in the Rihannacase.

TMZ sources suggest that Brown flew off to L.A. after getting released from the D.C. jail and met with L.A. County Probation Department officials. Sources also report that his mom and GF Karrueche accompanied him to the facility.

If the judge decides Brown violated his probation, he could sentence him to as much as 4 years in prison.

Freeway Rick Says Talk Is Cheap Jay Z: ‘It’s not enough to comment about Barneys’

by Stereo Williams
The controversy surrounding high-end department store Barneys, racial profiling and hip-hop mogul Jay Z continues to spark conversation and commentary. Following accusations that Barneys profiles and harasses young African American patrons of its Manhattan location, many called for Jay to pull out of his planned partnership with the store. While advocates like Rev. Al Sharpton have defended Jay, former drug kingpin “Freeway” Rick Ross was asked for his take and offered a different perspective on Jay’s recent statement regarding his business dealings with Barney’s.
“I read the Jay Z comments on Barneys asking why he’s being judged, you’re being judged because that’s what comes with basing your career off the D-boy game,” Rick told AllHipHop. “The game is give and take with those around you. It’s not enough to comment about Barneys profiling when you sell products to the people possibly targeted. People that look like people you grew up with, and that are in your family. We know the reality of this country in regard to race. You stand up for them immediately when it comes to something as sensitive as racial profiling.”
Ross added that rappers have to acknowledge that many of the brands they champion in their music don’t value their fans as a demographic.
“You have to have context of American history that this profiling is happening and be honest, and demand the people you partner with to be of the type that treat your people fairly,” he explained. “This is the big problem of the high-end luxury these rappers talk about and have our children hooked on for status. They are not in our interest as a community, and often, as seen in the profiling case, they look down upon us as customers.

Police Nation

A shocking report prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs(MFA) for the Federal Assembly (FA) is urging a new law be passed giving to all Russians traveling to the United States a “warning” that American police officers have entered upon an “unprecedented killing spree” that in the past decade has seen nearly 5,000 innocent civilians gunned down without benefit of either charges being filed, or being convicted of a crime.
Two of the worst American cities for police abuse likely to be visited by Russian citizens, this report says, are Chicago, which was condemned by the United Nations for its practice of widespread police torture, and New York City whose government paid out over $1 billion between 2000-2010 in lawsuit claims related to police abuse, and last year, 2012, had to pay out another $131 million to settle civil rights and police abuse claims too.
Grimly to be noted, this report continues, are that the statistics for the nearly 5,000 people killed by American police officers in the past decade, including 587 killed in 2012 alone, may not even be the true total of these deaths as a study of killings by police from 1999 to 2002 in the Central Florida region found that US national databases included only one-fourth of the number of persons killed by police as reported in the local news media.
To the types of people being targeted by these US police “killing machines,” this report says, are many with disabilities and mental illness, including:
Down Syndrome patient Robert Ethan Saylor, 26, who was brutally straggled to death by 3 Maryland sheriff’s deputies on 12 January and whose last words were cries for his “mommy” to come help him.

Mentally ill patient Bobby Bennett, 53, brutally shot by Dallas Texas police officers on 14 October while standing in the street in front of his house not threatening anyone. [See video HERE]
To the “kill first” mentality of American police officers this report cites the 29 November 2012 public execution of Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams by Cleveland Ohio police officers, who for daring to flee from police after a traffic stop were chased by 104 police officers for 25-minutes and then gunned down in a hail of 137 bullets.
Even though 63 of the 104 Cleveland police officers were suspended for the execution of Russell and Williams, this report says, no officers in the killing of Saylor or the shooting of Bennett have been charged.
In fact, this report states, the lack of American authorities holding their police officers responsible for killing of innocents is virtually unheard of in the United States and has caused this unprecedented “explosion” of police violence.
Equally to be blamed, this report continues, are America’s wars over the past 12-years that has filled its police departments with veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan who have yet to acclimate to civilian life and are, in essence, still in “combat mode.”
Two of the many examples cited in this report of this “combat mode” mentality held by American police officers include:
Allen Hicks, in 2012, who was arrested by Tampa Florida police officers for “not following orders” and was thrown into a jail cell where he was later found to be having a stroke, and which a few months later he died from in hospital.

Elliott Williams, in 2011, who was arrested by Tulsa Oklahoma police officers on a minor charge and was left in his jail cell for 5 days until he died, all the while being neglected and his health ignored.
What’s even worse, this MFA report warns, is that this unprecedented “killing spree” US police officers are now on is only going to get worse as these once honored guardians of the peace have become more militarized.
And as further warned about the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU): “American neighborhoods are increasingly being policed by cops armed with the weapons and tactics of war.
To if the Obama regime will attempt to stop this police “killing spree,” this report concludes, it does not appear likely as President Obama has just nominated as his new Homeland Security Secretary former Pentagon lawyerJeh Johnson, and who has said, “US citizens do not have immunity from assassination when they are at war with the United States.
And to whom these Obama regime leaders feel they are “at war” with, the MFA says, was recently revealed in US Court documents relating to a lawsuit against the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) which shockingly revealed that the invasive personal searches conducted by them upon their own citizens has nothing to do with preventing terrorism, but is, instead, designed to make these people as compliant to police authority as possible.
