There are more sneaker releases each week than most can remember. We're halfway through 2014, and there have been enough amazing (and not so amazing) sneakers to last us until the end of the year. But at this junction, it's time to decide which cream has risen to the top of the sneaker world right now.

That's right, Complex is counting down the best sneakers of the year, but Complex is not adding everything to their list. For this ranking, they've compiled the best new sneakers and collaborations (no retros) of the past six months. The list includes wins from adidas, Jordan Brand, Nike, ASICS, New Balance, and more.
